FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Do I need a physician’s referral? Maybe. Most PPOs do not, and other insurance coverages may or may not. Please call our office at 972-709-6673 and one of our insurance specialists will work with you.

Do you accept my insurance? We accept most insurances, including all PPOs, HMOs, Medicare, TriCare, and Medicaid. The exceptions are Blue Solutions and Humana PPO Preferred.

Are you taking new patients? Yes! Most of the time, we will be able to see you in less than a week.

Who do you treat? We are board certified to treat adults and children of all ages.

Can I eat before the appointment? Yes, eating is encouraged and will help you feel better for the visit.

What about my medications? Please take all of your present medications, excluding antihistamines. Please try to discontinue any of the following medications (which contain antihistamines) two to three days before the visit if possible:

• Allegra • Patanase
• Astelin • Robitussin
• Benadryl • Sudafed Sinus
• Chlorpheneramine • Sudafed Nighttime
• Chlor-Trimeton • Triaminic
• Claritin • Tylenol Allergy
• Clarinex • Xyzal
• Dimetapp • Zyrtec
• Diphenhydramine  
• Fexofenidine  

Do not take any other antihistamine or antihistamine combination product. Most cough, allergy, cold, sinus, and over-the-counter sleep preparations contain antihistamines – so do not take them. Plain decongestants, all asthma inhalers, steroid nasal sprays and Singulair are OK.
