Medications

There are many factors involved when considering any treatment modality – especially medications. For all of the conditions we evaluate, diagnose and treat, medications are very effective most of the time – but they are not always the best choice.

We need to consider many things, including possible side effects, drug interactions and previous experiences with specific medications or classes of medications. Naturally, we also take into account current trends and research.

For the best results, medications often need to be taken on a daily basis. Some conditions require patients to take medications for a finite period of time or intermittently. All situations are evaluated on an individual basis, and all considerations are reviewed in detail.
